When you commission a piece of art, it should be more than just a painting, so, discover the beauty of personalised art.

That’s what makes my approach to unique commissioned art so special. Every piece I create reflects you, your story, and your world. Whether it’s your heritage, favourite flowers, or something close to your heart. I make sure each commissioned piece of original art truly feels like yours.

Why Commission a Piece of Art?

There are many great reasons why you might commission art. Let’s explore some of them!

Interior Design

Redecorating your space? A piece of unique art can be the perfect finishing touch. It brings in colours, mood, and ambiance that reflect your new design. Maybe you have beautiful outdoor views and want them mirrored inside, or perhaps your outlook isn’t great, and you’d love to enhance the interior instead. Or you might simply want a ‘wow’ factor that draws people in. Original art is the perfect way to achieve that—whether it’s for your home or business.

Marking a Special Occasion

Have a big birthday or anniversary coming up? Commemorate it with a custom piece of art. It’s a lasting way to mark the occasion, a keepsake that future generations will treasure.

A Unique Gift

Many of my commissions are gifts, designed with love for someone special. One of my favourites was a piece for a mum, arranged by her family. Each family member was represented by their birth flower—even the dog! It was a beautiful way to capture their bond, and the mum was deeply moved.

Let’s Meet and Get Started

Whatever your reason for commissioning art, it’s important that I get to know you. Ideally, we’ll meet in person at your home, where I can see the space and understand your style. But if that’s not possible, we can always chat via FaceTime. Either way, hearing your story inspires me to create something truly personal, that's the beauty of personalised art.

Once we decide on the size, colours, and themes, the magic begins. My favourite part is bringing your story to life through personalised art that’s as unique as you are.

Commission a One-of-a-Kind Piece Today

The beauty of personalised art - Miriam Vincent presents her latest commission to he client, a bright, yellow sun rises behind welsh hill with a meadow of beautiful flowers in the foreground, especially prominent are the sunflowers

In my most recent commission, I was able to blend the client's love of sunflowers with her Welsh heritage. Sunflowers stood tall and bright in the piece, set against the rolling Welsh hills, symbolising her roots. I also painted a variety of vibrant flowers in a meadow to represent all the amazing women she has guided on their entrepreneurial journeys.

This is what personalised art should feel like—a mirror of who you are and what you hold dear. My client was absolutely delighted by the piece, because I surprised her with some of the details, little things I had picked up on from our meeting together.

Personalised Commissioned Art for a Collective

Creating art with hidden meanings and bright colours is not just about aesthetics. It’s about you never tiring of looking at it. As Aristotle once said, “The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.'' This, combined with my "happy art" style of vibrant, joyful colours and a sense of freedom, makes it the perfect gift for any special occasion. And if you’re thinking of something for your business, commissioned art can reflect your values, your team, and your customers in an uplifting and unique way.

Pretty meadow of flowers against a blue sky - a mural painted on The Bridge Inn Kentchurch.

For instance, following the pandemic I worked on a cheerful piece for The Bridge Inn at Kentchurch. The impact of Covid-19 encouraged businesses to make more use of their outdoor spaces. The Bridge Inn’s outdoor space seemed a little bare. Therefore, the landlord and lady wanted something fun and colourful to brighten up their beer garden. The result was a vibrant mural that not only lifted the atmosphere but also brought joy to their visitors.

The Beauty of Personalised Art - Conclusion

Whether you're looking to decorate your home or office, a piece of original art can transform your space and add a personal touch that mass-produced prints simply can't provide. And if you're not sure exactly what would be best, you can always gift a voucher so your loved one can commission their own personalised piece.
